Being a highly nerd-centric demographic, many Star Wars fans are also avid gamers and always looking for new Star Wars games. As someone with many Star Wars super fans, I am very familiar with the desire to engage in the franchise in a million different ways. From Star Wars short films to obscure novels to board games, you name it, and they’ll find it!
That’s why it’s surprising that Nintendo Switch offers so few Star Wars game titles. That said, the ones that do exist are pretty fantastic. Whether it’s a LEGO game, an RPG or a first-person shooter, the Star Wars games by Nintendo Switch consistently offer captivating storylines, varied and fantastic game mechanics, and all the quality touches that make a game an immersive experience.
However, not all Star Wars games are created equal, so I’ve hand-picked the ones I think are the best based on my experience playing these on my Switch. I made sure to list recent releases, LEGO alternatives and games from back in the early 2000s – the older ones have legions of fans who keep returning to rediscover their magic!
