My 4-year-old is just obsessed with the plumber brothers Mario and Luigi, and is always finding ways to tie his playtime with the world that Nintendo created. It all started with him seeing my husband play Super Mario Odyssey on my Switch, and it quickly evolved into him asking us if he could watch streamers play different Super Mario games on YouTube. Soon enough, he started playing two-player Super Mario games with his dad on the Switch – the only rule is that he has to be Mario and my husband has to be Luigi.
Fast forward one year, and all our family and friends are very much aware of my son’s obsession with Super Mario.
