It’s hard to imagine a person on earth who doesn’t know the words to at least one Disney song. It might be a couple of verses of ‘Let It Go’ by the wickedly talented Idina Menzel, or some of the easygoing anthem, ‘Hakuna Matata’. One could say that having a few Disney songs in your back pocket might be like one of life’s ‘Bare Necessities’!

Disney is the monolith of children’s entertainment globally. They’ve been around in some form since 1923, which means we’ve been enjoying their films for a whole century. They came into great success in the late 1930s with the huge commercial boom of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. And that caused the name ‘Walt Disney’ to be instantly cemented in the minds of children and adults around the world.

We’ve come a long way since Snow White, with a whopping 62 feature films since 1937 and with hundreds more iconic characters. The Walt Disney Company revolutionized animation, and now you can color in some of the scenes and characters that made their movies so iconic. Some classic scenes of what you might expect from your favorite characters, and some that might show you another side to the characters you thought you knew…

1. The Genie

1 Aladdin Genie Coloring Page

Genie’s been pulled out of his lamp, and he doesn’t like that usually. But who could be mad at a cute little puppy? The good news is that the puppy only has three wishes; Food, walkies and food again.

2. Winnie-the-Pooh

2 Winnie the Pooh coloring page

Uh-oh! It looks like Winnie has some pretty tough-looking bees all upset. Maybe they’ve run out of patience! They put a lot of hard work into that honey, and Pooh just helps himself whenever he feels like… But he’s a lovable bear, so there’s no doubt they’ll let him off with a warning!

3. Timon and Pumba

3 Timon and Pumba coloring page

‘Hakuna Matata’ means no worries for the rest of your days. I hope they don’t take that same relaxed approach to hygiene in the kitchen, or I’m not eating any of it. Timon seems to be the chef of the two, tasting as he goes and seasoning as needed with some beetles. Meanwhile, Pumba is just excited he will get to eat soon.

4. Goofy

4 Goofy skydiving coloring page

Everyone knows that Goofy loves an adventure. Unfortunately, knowing Goofy’s track record, it’s hard to imagine him landing smoothly. But no doubt he’ll brush it all off, laughing one of the most iconic of laughs all the way down.

5. Mushu

5 Mushu comedian coloring page

Mushu, a little dragon with a big ego, of course he’d make a good stand up comedian. It’s a good job he’s got fire in his belly, because public speaking can be really scary. I’m sure this loud mouth lizard won’t have a problem with it though.

6. Mickey

6 Mickey car coloring page

Mickey’s decided it’s time to retire and cash in on all the fame. And it looks like all that Fantasia money has stretched for him to afford his own Lamborghini. Or is that a Ferrari? Either way it’s hard to imagine though massive feet being able to work the pedals, hopefully it’s an automatic.

7. Maleficient

7 Maleficient coloring page

The undisputed ‘Queen of Pettiness’ (and the last person you don’t want to invite to your birthday party), Maleficent, is a very powerful villain. Color her in alongside her dragon form, a phrase which can’t be said for many of the other Disney characters on this list.

8. Tigger

8 Tigger Disney coloring page

In this coloring page, you can see Tigger ready to pounce on those jars of honey. One forgets, but Tigger is an apex predator despite his playful demeanor and loveable confidence. But don’t worry, nothing will happen to Pooh – looking after each other is just what the animals of ‘Hundred Aker Wood’ are all about.

9. Donald

9 Donald Disney coloring page

Donald might be lost, but he looks full of determination. He’s got a stick in his hand and a big backpack on, as he hikes his way through the mountains. What has me confused is his outfit… He’s dressed pretty smart with his shirt and tie!

10. Jiminy Cricket

10 Jimmy Cricket Disney coloring page

Jiminy Cricket is trying to prove that he’s not just a narrator, he’s got main character energy. Skydiving with nothing but an umbrella, that’s bold. You’d think no one would believe him, and he’s not the one with the nose that grows when he lies.

11. Mickey and Scar

11 Mickey baseball Disney coloring page

Think Scar was evil enough in The Lion King? What if I told you he’s got a mean pitch and he’s about to strike out Mickey Mouse in front of his home crowd? After a long day offing the King of the Pride Lands, the only way for a treasonous traitor to relax is with a good game of baseball.

12. Piglet

12 Piglet coloring page

Piglet may not be big or brave, but he’s got a big heart. And here he is, showing he’s also got a big brain. But you can decide what he’s reading about… Is it a storybook? Is he reading about outer space? Or it could be an article about coloring in pages of popular Disney characters?

13. Pluto

13 Pluto coloring page

The loveable Pluto is known for getting into all sorts of scrapes and mishaps, but even a naughty dog needs some downtime every now and again. Why not color Pluto just relaxing out on the porch of his cute house?

14. Ursula

14 Ursula coloring page

How else is a villainous sea witch meant to unwind other than a relaxed day at the beach? She better be careful she doesn’t sunbathe too long or she might end up as fried calamari.
